IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DONORS
Dearest Baba Family,
Jai Baba!
The response of Beloved Baba's lovers around the world to the Trust's
Development Plan which includes purchasing important lands around
Meherabad and Meherazad is much appreciated by the Board of Trustees of
Avatar Meher Baba Perpetual Public Charitable Trust. And we know that
you will continue to help His Cause in this way. Because of your care
and concern Beloved Baba's wishes as stated in the Trust Deed are being
fulfilled.
However we need to inform you all dear ones that apart from helping
Beloved Baba's Cause in this way, the Beneficiaries of Avatar Meher
Baba Trust "Firstly" need to maintain their livelihood which Beloved
Baba made provision for through the Trust Deed. Now and again we have
drawn your attention that donations for the Beneficiaries were low, and
then you would help the Beneficiaries by sending donations to Avatar
Meher Baba Trust "Firstly." But this year such a negligible amount of
donations have been received that we are unable to make the regular
disbursement to them in September.
Therefore to help solve this problem that comes up now and again, we
suggest that whatever you previously sent as smaller general (not
Corpus) donations to Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust that you now please
send these donations to: Avatar Meher Baba Trust "Firstly". By doing
this we feel sufficient funds will be donated to Avatar Meher Baba
Trust Firstly to see to the Beneficiaries.
And concerning donations for Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust you may send
only the larger donations either specifically for Corpus or for its
Development Plan as you have been doing.
At present about 92% of what is donated to Avatar Meher Baba Trust
"Firstly" is utilized by Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust. This 92% is the
share of the Beneficiaries who have passed away and it is automatically
utilized for Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust according to the Trust Deed.
Only the remaining 8% of donations to Avatar Meher Baba Trust "Firstly"
can be distributed to the surviving four Beneficiaries according to the
percentages dictated by Beloved Baba in the Trust Deed.
Therefore, by donating to Avatar Meher Baba Trust "Firstly" you dear
ones will be serving at the same time the needs of Avatar Meher Baba
PPC Trust and the Beneficiaries named by Beloved Baba.
How blessed you are Beloved Baba's dear ones that through your
donations you are selflessly serving His Cause. There are only a few in
the world that can understand and feel the importance of selfless
service. No doubt many perform social service. But there is a vast
difference between social service and selfless service. Social service
can help others but you collect the good impressions of those whom you
serve. Social service may take you to heaven but you have to come back
again so you remain bound because both good and bad impressions are
binding. While in selfless service you lessen the previous impressions
collected by you and you are have a direct way to paradise. In selfless
service you have to lose your self, that is your false self in service
to God through love, honesty and sincerity which makes your false self
weaker. In selfless service you serve through love and so you even
forget that you have served because you never had time to think about
your false self be cause love keeps the false self quiet. How fortunate
and blessed you are. And because of your blessedness we do not hesitate
to salute your love 1008 times.

Along with the donation cheque, the donor's letter should include the
donor's name and address, the amount of the donation, and the name of
the Trust, Avatar Meher Baba Trust Firstly (or for the larger donations
as you have specifically been doing, Avatar Meher Baba PPC Trust for
Corpus or Development Plan).
And, your support is needed locally as well!
The
MBCTC relies in part on your membership support to sustain our
activities throughout the year and to make possible scholarships to
support participation for any of us who may be invited to experience a
"temporary" taste of the New Life.
